It's hard to describe the love I have for these photos. This photo, taken 22 years ago was on cheap Ektachrome slide film, developed at the local drug store. I was able to restore it to its full glory after massive color correction, scratch and dirt removal- lots of work but well worth it. This beautiful Aer Lingus 747-100 just touched down on runway 31R and went long, to the delight of this photographer (most airplanes turn off earlier and this type of photo is not possible)
