I'm in a Jetblue E190 flying BOS-CLT and from my left side window seat, I saw this 747 from a distance on the right side window, so luckily the next row over was empty so I grabbed the camera and as the AF 747 got closer I snapped away. Most came out unsharp (typical through airplane windows with zoom lens), but this was good enough to share. We were on Southerly track south of New York.. -if you know where it was headed please put in comments below

This is EMAS (Engineered materials arrestor system) at the end of runway 22L (there is another one at the other end of 22L which is same runway 4R). EMAS is supposed to slow down and eventually stop an airplane that cannot stop under it's own power.
